When we bid adieu to 2020, hopes were high in the hospitality industry that 2021 would be different. And it was, but while pandemic-related shutdowns didn't return, many other challenges arose, including an ongoing staffing shortage and supply-chain issues that have made everything from booze to rubber gloves hard to find.
